Three Closet Staples You Need | Levi’s, Leopard, and Lace

When you don’t know what to wear I’ve always found it best to revert back to what you know and love – to a point that is. Now, if you’re going out for cocktails with your girls and what you know and love is your house robe and slippers, then by all means maybe you need a night in. What I mean is, take it back to the basics. As you may have seen me state over on Instagram, there are three closet staples I’ll never get sick of; Levi’s, lace camisoles, and leopard print. And listen, I know I’ve been making a strong case for these jeans for well over a year now but I guess that should tell you something. Vintage Summer Style

Hi guys! Phew, it’s been a minute! As some of you may have noticed I’ve taken a little blogging hiatus. I started working full time again in February and in all honesty it requires a lot of my time and at the end of the day I didn’t have the energy to come home and chat about fashion. But, the good news is I’m back! 🙌🏼 I have a *little* more free time (okay, not really but I’m gonna pretend that I do) and am going to try to ease into posting 1-2 x per week again.

Tiger Print Slip Dress [3 ways]

If you guys have been following me for a while you know a couple of things are true; 1) I like to make a statement every once in a while and 2) I like pieces that are versatile. When I saw this tiger print slip dress I knew I had to have it. However, I couldn’t decide if I should get it in plain black or tiger print (which I obviously opted for).

Slip Skirt + Chunky Knit

I’m sure a lot of you have seen that slip dresses and slip skirts have been making a major comeback as of recently. I just keep thinking back to my high school days when I had a black paisley print slip skirt from The Limited. Loved that thing. Although I definitely styled it a bit different back then.

My current favorite way to style a slip skirt is with a chunky knit on top, somewhat tucked it (I prefer just a little half tuck), and styled with either booties or sneakers. I think this outfit would be so cute with sneakers and a Moto jacket thrown over for a casual but still stylish weekend look. You could even swap the sweater out for a plain white t-shirt! So many options here. read more
