The woman’s ‘power suit’ has had quite the resurgence over the past couple of seasons. In fact – when I went to New York Fashion Week last September I was surprised at how many bold colored suits I saw the girls wearing. Mostly with retro boots and cool band tees. This spring the power suit’s little sister – the ‘short suit’ –  is having a moment of its own.

I paired my short suit with a cute tee and some espadrilles but I think it would also be really cute with a nice blouse and some heels. The fun thing about the short suit is that you can dress it up or down depending on where you are going and what you are doing.
