Do you ever have that one item sitting in your closet for months, and you just know you are going to wear it but just not sure when or how? Well, I have quite a few of those and more than one is a maxi skirt.
I just love the way they look on others but often have a hard time stepping out of my comfort zone and rocking one myself. Today was different. The sun was starting to set, the breeze was blowing, it was one of those absolutely breathtaking days where you just want to feel like you are boho-chic-ing it in the wind. Well, that’s how I felt anyhow.
Needless to say, you can see by the photos I opted to wear that skirt. That $15.99 on sale Zara maxi skirt that is. Trust I wouldn’t splurge on something that I am not quite sure how I am going to wear yet. Pretty positive this is going to be a spring and summer staple item in my wardrobe from here on out. It just felt nice to wear it, that is really how I can explain it; it felt nice, and I felt pretty. What more can you ask for? Oh, and the comfort factor is pretty high up there as well- felt like I was wearing dressed up pajamas…with heels and a suede top that is. You get my drift.
