Hi guys! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! I love the weekends because that’s when I get to spend time with my little family and just relax! This look was from Friday night when we went out for an ice cream date at our favorite ice cream spot up the street. I thought I would pair this pretty silk top with a pair of jeans for a casual but still somewhat dressed up look. I love pairing dressy items with pieces that aren’t typically seen as being ‘dressy’. Just something about the juxtaposition; kind of like pairing a girly dress with a leather jacket!
Classic LBD + Heels
A LBD & some strappy heels has me feeling ultra girly and feminine during these last few weeks of my pregnancy. Not gonna lie, a lot of days I can barely get out of comfy leggings and flowy tops but I have found it really refreshing to get up, get dressed, and embrace my baby bump!My dress is non-maternity which I love because I know it will be something I can wear after my pregnancy (although I sized 1 size up to account for the bump so we shall see!) and it is under $30 – such a steal! It also comes in a chic blush color that I might get for after the baby 😉 Also, you guys probably saw these shoes in one of my other recent posts – they are $40 and look exactly like the Stuart Weitzman ‘nudist’ heels!

Somehow it’s already Wednesday guys! Hump day…already. I love short weeks. Hope you all had an awesome 4th. We spent ours at the beach – can’t keep me away for too long. It was the 50th anniversary of the Ocean Beach pier being built so I felt like that made it just a tad bit more special. I can’t believe summer is about halfway over. How does that even happen? I thought it just started. Eh, anyhow. On another note, I am absolutely in LOVE with this linen top from Aussie brand Eva’s Sunday.

Holiday Style with Polka Dot Tights
I am in Ohio this week spending Christmas with my family. And although these photos were shot right before I left California this outfit would actually be perfect for Ohio weather right now. Normally, they are covered in beautiful layers of white snow right now, but this year it is sans snow and all sunshine. I guess I can’t complain because I don’t have to alter my wardrobe much at all. Even if you are in a colder climate you can just throw a big coat over this look and take it off when you get to the party!
