Dreaming of Spring in Leopard Print

Since it’s an ACTUAL crisp 13 degrees outside right now I thought I would take it back to warmer days. These photos are from my trip to San Diego last month and being snowed in has me daydreaming about warmer weather. When I look at these photos it seems like SO much time has passed, but its actually only been a month! I guess the holidays will do that to you. I shared this leopard print romper on Instagram during my trip but have been meaning to do a blog post talking about animal print for you guys. read more

Friday Favorites | Belted outfit

belted outfit idea for fallFeeling in an outfit rut lately? Same girl, same. I’ve found that one of the easiest ways to dress yourself out of it is to add a fun accessory. A belt is my go-to for this easy style hack. The one I’m wearing in the belted outfit above is from B-Low the Belt… I had wanted this belt forever and when I was pregnant I finally decided to break down and buy it. So funny that it took a baby bump to motivate me to buy a belt! Anyhow the belt IS a little bit of an investment for a belt so if you want to try the look before going all in I found this one that looks just like it’s only $21! read more

Gingham Days

I’ve been back from New York Fashion Week for a full week now and still sorting through all my photos! I wore this outfit my first day in New York, this top is actually a dress but I paired it with some distressed jeans to help me stay warm once the sun set. I am excited to wear it as an actual dress next spring/summer – it will be the perfect vacation or weekend dress I am sure and is on sale now if you want to check it out here!

S T R I P E S | F L O R A L S

Surprise, Surprise! I was sweating my bum off in this outfit today. I figured, well since it is January I might be able to get away with wearing a crop turtleneck and pants. In fact I thought I would even be a bit chilly, but the weather gods didn’t have that in store for me today. Another sunny, beautiful, day and how can you help not to smile? The sunshine definitely keeps me happy! I ordered these pants & their matching peplum top back in October but lately have been having a bit of fun pairing them with different tops such as this Reformation crop turtleneck. Although I usually don’t wear a lot of prints (I tend to stick to solids, black and white mostly), I enjoy a good stripe/floral combo every once in a while. Top- The Reformation (Quail top) Pants- Cameo The Label (Tokyo story) Shoes- Zara Sunglasses- Celine (Audrey)
