Styling the Trench Coat

belted trench coatHappy Monday girls! It’s been a little bit rough getting things going today – anyone else feeling like that? I already downed one glass of cold brew and am getting ready to grab a London Fog. For anyone wondering what that is – it’s basically an Earl Gray tea with steamed milk and lavender and vanilla syrups – so good!

I had a lazy moment the other day (who am I kidding – that’s like every day) and decided to turn this coat into it’s own outfit. This is perfect for those days when you don’t really want to think too much because you can literally wear anything underneath and still look put together. For the record – I had a skirt and cami on underneath but you could be wearing pajamas and it wouldn’t matter haha. read more

Holiday Party Outfit Tips

Holiday Party Outfit Idea

If you’re like me, finding the perfect holiday party outfit can go one of two ways. You either walk out the door feeling cool, calm, and collected – or you are running out the door while still putting in your sparkly earrings and slipping on your strappy pearl heels. Can you guess which category I usually fall into? Ha! I am not the most organized person but I have found that when I actually take time to plan what I am going to wear getting ready for the evening it is a much smoother process. And take it from me, it’s much for fun to get ready when you have a few of the details planned out. That way you can take your time, sip some rosé, and get into party mode. read more

Pink + Gray Days

How to style a blazer

It’s hump-day – not sure how it is only Wednesday, feels like it should be Friday already! We have our birthing classes tonight which I actually enjoy going to because we are learning SO much about the birthing process – sometimes a little too much! 😉

This dress I am wearing is from Urban Outfitters and is non-maternity. I sized up to a medium to account for the bump. it is super comfortable and easy to wear. I am tempted to order it in black too – would be so cute with some OTK boots and a leather jacket! I paired mine with my Citizen’s Mark blazer for a more business-chic look. You guys might remember me posting about this blazer earlier this year. It has worked its way into my wardrobe as one of those staples that you can throw on with ripped jeans, dresses, and everything in between! PS – You can get $50 off at CitizensMark.com right now using code ‘BIOB50‘ at checkout! read more
