Sweater weather is finally upon us. And if you’re in Ohio you know that means today it is but tomorrow you might need to rock a sun dress. I actually shot these photos a few weeks back but totally forgot to put together a blog post. What can I say?! Mom brain to the max these days. It may be getting a little too cool here in Ohio to still wear shorts, although we still have those sporadic hot days here and there. I know my babes in CA and other warm weather climates can still rock this look. In fact, this would be the perfect look for an evening dinner with girlfriends. When the sun goes down and its a little cooler than usual out but still not cold yet. Feel Confident in Your Clothing | NYC Edition
Feeling a little refreshed and ready to go today after a quick weekend in New York City. I always have such a great time when I visit NY and this time was no different. One of my favorite things about NY definitely has to be the food. There are SO many options you really can’t go wrong. The best thing I ate all weekend was the Lobster Roll at Gaby Bar in Midtown. Guys, it was DELICIOUS. I definitely recommend it if you are going to be in NY anytime soon!
The Short Suit | The Power Suit’s Little Sister
The woman’s ‘power suit’ has had quite the resurgence over the past couple of seasons. In fact – when I went to New York Fashion Week last September I was surprised at how many bold colored suits I saw the girls wearing. Mostly with retro boots and cool band tees. This spring the power suit’s little sister – the ‘short suit’ – is having a moment of its own.

Happy Tuesday guys! I feel a bit like it’s Monday still. Must be the ‘mom brain’ thing. Which speaking of ‘mom brain’ can you guys believe I wore this sweater all day Sunday not realizing it was on backwards?! LOL! When I went to grab the link to share it with you guys I realized it was a ‘scoop back’ sweater – ha. I guess it just makes it that much more versatile. Would be super cute on the right way with a lacey bralette like this one showing in the back. When wearing it backwards though it does slide of the shoulders if you let it (but not annoyingly so) which I thought was kind of cute.

Apple pie for breakfast…all time high, or all time low? I’m gonna go with all time high to make myself feel better, haha! Still in my sweats and my baby boy just went down for a nap so I wanted to hop online to get this post up for you guys.
