IT Cosmetics CC cream – I have been using this stuff for the past year or so now and I absolutely love it. I can’t lie, I have switched to a full coverage foundation on some days but on the days I am trying to keep my makeup low key this is the stuff I reach for. It is actually considered a full coverage color-correcting cream so it does do a pretty good job in that area but I also love that it keeps you looking dewy, has SPF 50+ Sunscreen, and antiaging properties as well (can’t go wrong with that – amirite?!).
Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara – I have also been using this mascara for a while now and am still obsessed! I alternate between this and the L’Oreal Lash Paradise as I feel like that one is a good dupe for the Too Faced one, and half the price. This mascara really makes my eyelashes pop! I like to apply multiple coats though – that’s just me! It looks great with just a coat or two though if you want to keep it natural.
Hourglass Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation stick – This is the full coverage foundation I mentioned above, and you guys – it’s SO good! At first I didn’t see what all the rage (or the price tag) was about. Then, I was chatting with a girlfriend and realized I just wasn’t applying enough. Once I went in with a little more product I totally got why people are obsessed with this stuff. It is the most full coverage foundation I think I’ve ever used personally which of course not everyone needs. Me? I need it right now because I am trying to cover up some melasma that came up while I was pregnant. This stuff does such a good job at covering it and keeping a little bit of the dewy look I like.
BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter – You guys have probably already read and heard so much about this product but it is my absolute favorite highlighter. I had originally bough the champagne pop color of this highlighter and that was my holy grail until I tried Opal after getting a sample with my points from Sephora. I love the color of this one on my skin. Honestly, I think it depends on your skin tone as far as which one is going to work best for you – if you are fair to medium you will probably love this one.
Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder – I bought this stuff back in January and use it almost every single day. I only use a little bit so I am legit still using the one I bought in January. I like to use it under my eyes and all over my face on days I really want my makeup to stay. When I first got it I used way too much on the under eye area and it caused a crepey looking effect so be sure to tap your brush off before applying it to areas that you might have small lines/wrinkles.
Dior Addict Lip Glow Color Reviver Balm – I received this lippie a month or two back in collaboration with Dior and now I find myself reaching for it on the regular. I tend to alternate between this and the Dior Addict Lacquer Stick (I have shade ‘poisonous’). These are both super moisturizing and I love that the reviver balm is more of a sheer balm that is meant to bring out your lips natural color. I used to always love a bold lip but as I got older I kind of got away from it and couldn’t find colors that I felt really complimented my skin tone. Now I look for colors that are similar to my lip color and just work on enhancing what I already have going on.
