I think we all need those items in our closet that are our go-to pieces when we literally having “nothing” to wear! For me, that is usually a pointy black boot, black skinnies (love these because they have a shiny coating!), and a white top. I love to mix in a little gray or some stripes from time to time and of course top it off with my favorite gold jewelry of the moment. Having some unique basics in your closet to reach for make getting dressed that much easier because you have a base to build off of.
I got this cardigan from all places…the GAP – haven’t shopped there in YEARS and am pleasantly surprised with this sweater! I was on the hunt for a long gray cardigan that resembled this Acne Studios one but that didn’t break the bank and this one fit the bill. It does run a bit large – I am wearing the small but probably could have even gone for an XS (I am 5’2″ for reference!).
Also, I finally caved and got these Acne Studios Jensen boots! I’ve wanted them for the past few years and have always opted for a cheaper version but was sad when they wore out so fast. Hoping these ones last awhile!
I love that this top can be super casual or could work for a day at the office, super versatile and always important to have good white shirts in your closet!
